I am diagnosed gluten-intolerant, but was never tested for celiac. I maintain a strict gluten-free diet. I ate lunch at Teriyaki Grill and was quite happy with my experience. I told the person at the counter that I cannot have any gluten and he promptly pointed out which menu items could be made gluten-free, of which there were many choices. I ordered the teriyaki chicken with steamed vegetables (which turned out to be cabbage & broccoli) and white rice. I was quite pleased with my meal. They told me the teriyaki sauce they used was gluten-free & it was very tasty. The vegetables were steamed without anything else on them, which was great for me. The employees were all very nice and conscientious of my dietary needs, pointing out that the soy sauce on the table was not gluten-free, so I should not use it. The meal was good, reasonable, and timely.
