Nice vegan cafe. Had excellent GF sourdough pancakes. They describe the cafe as 99% gluten free (if I recall, they said there is only one dish that contains gluten). I also ordered GF bread here that was pretty good! Bread must be ordered 1 day in advance. Nice option as I couldn’t find GF bread in any stores. Bread can also be ordered via WhatsApp
I came to the shop to get GF bread, which is not on stock, but need to be ordered a day in advance, to be ready next morning from 10am. The bread did not taste very well, as it is quite dense and rather tiny. You pay 63.000 IDR (€3,55/US$3,88/AUD$5,90) which is quite a lot compared to other places. But in Kuta few options, only The Well (open since mid July) offers GF bread (much tastier, but 80K…)
Food is good considering it’s all vegan. I asked if the entire restaurant was gf and they said yes. I ordered sushi and it came with soy sauce and I asked if the soy sauce was gluten free and they told me no. I think they might also use it in the burgers and the coconut chips to make them taste like bbq. I am super sensitive to gluten and didn’t feel great after any of my meals there.
This restaurant is completely gluten free and vegan. I particularly liked the jackfruit wrap. They have gluten free bread (hallelujah!), delicious smoothie bowls, and tons of desserts in addition to a wide variety of breakfast, lunch & dinner foods. It’s really exciting to find a place like this in Lombok.
