I wanted to like this restaurant, but I didn't. There is another Brazilian steakhouse a few minutes away and they have much better options for a similar price. I am basically doing a comparison between them. To start with, the manager was nice and walked me through the buffet, but there were several options I couldn't have and they were right next to items that I could have. They had things like bread and croutons on a top level, so they all dribbled down onto the other food. Typical of a Brazilian steakhouse, they had mashed potatoes, fried bananas, and pao de quejo (Brazilian cheese bread) unlimited at the table. HOWEVER, the mashed potatoes were NOT gluten free and that confused me as mashed potatoes are very easy to make GF. The fried bananas also were not GF. We were only brought 3 cheesy bread pieces to begin with and had to flag our server down after 30 minutes to get more. Our server seemed to be managing the bar area as well, so our service was just ok. The beef was fatty and the chicken and pork were dry. The ribs were decent along with the filet, but it was definitely low quality meat. I just wasn't impressed and doubt I will be back.
Absolutely wonderful experience!! I told the waitress I had celiac disease and she promptly brought a manager over. He walked me through the buffet area and clearly explained what I could and could not eat, including the meats. He also explained their preparation practices and answered all of our questions. I was thrilled to eat cheese bread at the table - how often do we get to partake in a bread basket?! Everything was delicious and I had so many great options to eat. This was our first time there and we were so impressed. Will definitely return!
Service from our waitress was subpar. But everyone else was on target. The GM actually walked me around the salad bar and told what was safe and wasn't, along with the meats. The GM also told me that they have dedicated work spaces and work utensils, etc and are very aware of cross contamination.
This restaurant was such a delightful surprise! All meats gluten free and the salad bar was phenomenal. Salad dressings gluten free. Manager walked me through gluten containing items. Mashed potatoes were not gluten free but bread and bananas were. Even had 3 gluten free desserts.
The waiter was knowledgeable and sent the chef out to speak with us. He had a list of allergens and took us on a personal tour of the salad bar. All of the meats are gf and were delicious(which, let's be honest, is why you go here!). Also awesome to actually be able to eat the complimentary bread!
One of my more disappointing experiences at a Texas de Brazil. The meat (which I asked for as rare to medium rare) kept coming out medium well. Then, I finally got something the correct doneness, only to find out it wasn't gluten free. My waiter was informed of my allergy, but he didn't tell the manager, so I wasn't warned one of their steaks is not GF. Where I normally go, in another state, has said all the hot meats are GF.
I was unimpressed with how the lack of information was handled also.
Gluten free items identified on their website. ALL the meat offerings are gluten free. You won’t leave hungry. Hostess and Waitress very helpful with identifying Gluten Free
Went here for a holiday party. I talked to 5 different staff, couldn't get a staff member that even knew what gluten free meant. Finally someone handed me an allergen list for the salad bar that clear said at the top "Do not hand or email this list to the guest." It hadn't been updated since 2019.
I felt very uncomfortable and ended up eating almost nothing. I would not take the chance if celiac.
