Be very careful at Texas Roadhouse!! I worked here and not even the butter is safe. They use a piece of bread to keep the brown sugar from getting hard. They do have a process for allergies, but not all employees follow it. There are about 5 people who prepare one plate of food and not everyone changes their gloves for an allergen plate. If you do choose to eat here, salads are your best bet, or you can have an unseasoned steak (still very high risk for cross-contamination) or a baked potato with no toppings and UNCUT. The knives they use to cut the potatoes are contaminated with gluten because they’re kept in a container of hot water that gets shared with all other tools in use to plate food. I never used my employee discount because I didn’t feel safe eating here.
