TGIF may not be highly listed, but I would say that it’s worth a visit as the staff is very friendly, and when asked about GF, they send you senior staff member to look after you and help either your choices. My son was very impressed with this and enjoyed his meal. I would recommend it if you’re interested in making a visit.
We went there for lunch with my family and I couldn’t even believe what was about to happen, we were seated on a really great spot and the waiter came over so quickly to order drinks and explain to me how it worked with the QR code on the menu and how they do gluten free food in the kitchen.
He explained that they do the gluten free food apart in the kitchen so that it won’t come in cross-contamination with other non gluten free food, he explained to me that the manager would take my order so that I could be specific if needed about my condition and also he told me that the food could take longer to be prepared ( honestly better slower and safer than faster and more dangerous ), I’m saying this because I’m really sensitive to gluten as a celiac person.
The manager took our orders ( my order is on the photos attached ), he was really attentive and helpful to make me feel safe and comfortable to eat my food when it would come. Soon enough it came and still hot, the food was amazingly prepared, very delicious and I had no problem with it afterwards whatsoever.
The guy who served us was an absolute delight, never had a service that good in a long time. As well as the manager, very comprehensive and knowledgeable.
I definitely recommend for people like me, you just have to be patient and trust them when you give them the right information ( especially complete informations about your demands ). 100% recommended!
Booked by friends for a big reunion and was looking forward to it - the reality was a different story!
Arrived a little early and made to wait in a crowded entrance hall which ended up with about 20 others.
Taken upstairs and presented with menus - as a coeliac, I asked if there was a gluten free one or she could advise gluten free options, she didn’t a clue so I asked if she would be able to find someone who did. About 10 mins later, a manager came over and said to use the QR code on the back to access the menu online - if only i’d known that earlier!
She then came back to take everyone’s orders but couldn’t take mine - waited another 10 mins for manager so almost 30 mins in by now and surely a manager taking the orders for the whole table would have been a better idea as 2nd time I felt like an inconvenience/2nd class citizen.
Choices were limited and food ok - nothing more and overpriced for what it was. Will not be back!
There is not a separate GF menu, GF is not marked on the menu. You have to look at the menu online on your phone and apply the GF allergen filter. This then greys-out everything containing gluten leaving only a few options. The waitress took everyone’s order then the manager came over to take the GF order. Unfortunately he did not seem very knowledgeable and was just looking at the menu on his phone, as we were, to check if what we asked for was GF. We ordered the GF fajitas but he (whilst looking at the greyed-out fajitas) said he *thinks* those are a ‘may contain’. I had to then scroll his phone down to the GF fajitas to show him! He mumbled a couple of times that he can’t guarantee against cross-contamination. Anyway, the food was acceptable and there were no gluten symptoms. Sadly the only GF dessert was fruit sorbet.
