The food is delicious but it is no longer celiac safe. Or it depends on the laziness of the staff working. Not sure. Because I ate there and was told they can cater to celiac disease and then ordered in but the second time I ordered in they refused to make it celiac friendly and claimed they couldn’t do it even though the first two times they claimed they could. So you will get cross contamination. It’s light so it takes days before you know sadly. Because they were mild reactions I didn’t realize what it was from. When I get mild cross contamination I get headaches starting around day 4 so had already eaten here again before I knew they lied about their competence regarding being safe. So now I’m dealing with headaches and mouth sores and the fatigue. Beware! Very sad because the food is very good.
My husband and I drive in to NW Portland from N of Vancouver just to have Thai Bloom! I have to be gluten free and they are wonderfully accommodating. If you love Thai food this is the place for you. There’s also a Thai Bloom in Beaverton we love to go to when in that area. They have a great happy hour menu that saves $$$$$$$. Happy hour all day Sunday!
Many gluten free options here. The menu is clearly marked with gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan options. Wait staff was attentive to all my food needs and double checked with the kitchen. Best of all, this is really good Thai food!
Good food. Items that were gluten free were marked.
Great Thai food and a clearly marked menu with many options. Lots of vegetarian/vegan dishes as well.
Have not had Thai since developing Celiac six years ago. This was a wonderful place for Thai. Everything was clearly marked and tasted great.
A crime against Thai food. Safe though.
fantastic Thai food and many gf options for happy hour. gf clearly marked on the menu.
This is Thai Blooms second location with the same great menu catering to gluten-intolerant and celiac guests.
