I have gotten sick every time I’ve eaten here. They swear up and down they are gluten-free and celiac friendly. After the third time I finally asked the owner what kind of oil they use and it was “vegetable oil“ which means it’s soybean or corn, which is cross contaminated. Clearly they don’t understand what gluten-free really means and they’re not using ingredients that are certified gluten-free.

Excellent Thai food! Waitress provided info about how my dish would be made gluten free. Nice outdoor seating & dining room.

The food is delicious but it is no longer celiac safe. Or it depends on the laziness of the staff working. Not sure. Because I ate there and was told they can cater to celiac disease and then ordered in but the second time I ordered in they refused to make it celiac friendly and claimed they couldn’t do it even though the first two times they claimed they could. So you will get cross contamination. It’s light so it takes days before you know sadly. Because they were mild reactions I didn’t realize what it was from. When I get mild cross contamination I get headaches starting around day 4 so had already eaten here again before I knew they lied about their competence regarding being safe. So now I’m dealing with headaches and mouth sores and the fatigue. Beware! Very sad because the food is very good.

My husband and I drive in to NW Portland from N of Vancouver just to have Thai Bloom! I have to be gluten free and they are wonderfully accommodating. If you love Thai food this is the place for you. There’s also a Thai Bloom in Beaverton we love to go to when in that area. They have a great happy hour menu that saves $$$$$$$. Happy hour all day Sunday!

Many gluten free options here. The menu is clearly marked with gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan options. Wait staff was attentive to all my food needs and double checked with the kitchen. Best of all, this is really good Thai food!
