Thai One On

Had a wonderful meal of 50/50 sushi roll and Siamese Twins. The crab in the sushi was so fresh and the little lemon pieces on the roll really brought out the flavor. The Siamese Twins, a combo of chicken and shrimp in a sweet and sour sauce was a delight. Not the heavy goopy sweet and sour from most restaurants, it was light and flavorful. Not deep fried either. When ordering I asked for the whole meal to be GF and our server told us anything on he menu could be made gluten free. We ended the meal with sticky rice and bananas. It was a large portion almost too much for two people.

Sad to say that I will not be returning and no longer consider them celiac safe. Was my go-to restaurant for a couple years. Then suddenly, some of the items marked gluten-free on the menu had sharpie written in to cross of the GF symbol. When I asked wait staff they assured me the food could still be prepared GF. Around Christmas 2019 I ate there and was horribly ill, but the illness was so bad I blamed food poisoning instead of glutening.

Months later I decided to give them another chance. I ordered the Panang curry, marked GF on the menu, and told them it was a GF order. Decided to test with Nima which found gluten in two separate tests. Sad to say this place is no longer an option, and my gift card balance will go to waste.

Stopped by due to good ratings on this app and seeing a lot of the menu marked as gluten free on the website. When we arrived I noticed the markings on the menu were all blacked out. I asked why and the server explained it created confusion because most of the dishes could be made with or without gluten depending on your choices. For example, the duck is marinated with soy sauce, so if you order yellow curry with duck it is not gluten free, but yellow curry with other meats is. Seemed much more knowledgeable than expected about the topic. Delicious food with large portions.

Ate lunch here and was exposed to gluten. I clearly informed my server how important this issue is and she assured me they could prepare the food safely. Look out! I became very ill.

Have done takeout, delivery and multiple visits in person. Can do fried food here without fear. Never a problem. Thank you for accommodating us gluten challenged people.

Good ambience. Ordered mild spicy fried rice. It was very good but not spicy enough for me.
