Yummy food, staff knowledgeable...however I still got sick :/ I am celiac and have allergy to soy and peanuts. I ordered Tom Kha Soup and Green curry both with chicken. Have ordered this hundred of times from other Thai restaurants without a problem. Not sure where the issue stemmed from but I sure suffered :/

My wife and I are both gluten sensitive. We were excited to find a celiac-friendly Thai restaurant in Crystal River when we were there for a swim with the manatees. The food was amazing, and Nee was able to tell us which items were made without soy sauce. The next morning, though, we both had the start of a mild DH outbreak. More than likely it was cross-contamination, which was our fault since we didn't ask our usual litany of questions (tired and hungry after a long trip). For the Paleo crowd, this place is great. Celiacs and g.s. folk -- depends on what you order.

The food was delicious. The old Thai lady was very sweet and seemed to know about gluten. I asked if the curry had soy sauce or fish sauce and she said only fish sauce, which was gluten free. The green curry, panang curry, and chicken satay are awesome and gluten free. 10/10 would go again.

Absolutely great food!! I wasn't expecting much considering it's location but the food was great. They make most things with fish sauce, but ask to make sure. Best shrimp fried rice since being diagnosed 9 months ago! They don't understand the concept of gluten, but say no soy sauce or wheat and then they'll understand!

While they do not display a gluten-free menu, waitstaff understand about gluten and /or wanting food prepared without soy sauce. Many items listed on the menu are made without soy sauce, and with rice noodles. Though they will take special requests, If you order one of these already soy sauce-free dishes, you can avoid having to make any special requests. There were so choices, I had a difficult time deciding what to order (this is rarely the case!). Don't let the strip mall where the restaurant is located, or it's appearance from the outside, deter you from trying it. It's clean and the staff are friendly and attentive. Now... if only there was a Thai Phoon in San Diego, Ca!
