Gluten free sunshine bagels on all breakfast sandwich. Have been getting egg & bacon on gluten free bagel no issues it’s very yummy. Although sometimes the bagel is too soft and not toasted enough. They recently added vegan cream cheese to the menu too. Would recommend all THB locations
As of May 2024, they changed suppliers for GF bagels. The new GF bagels (still only plain and everything available are so much better than the old Udi’s bagels they used to offer. They are bigger and have a much chewier texture.
This bagel deserves a review.. it was one of those bagels I had to actually google “original sunshine bagels” to make sure it really was gluten free. I ordered an egg and cheese on a gf everything and it did not disappoint! Ordered through DoorDash so I cannot speak to cross contamination or Celiac safety but beyond happy to see Original Sunshine bagels are available near me because these are amazing and I would say right up there with Modern Bread and Bagel if you’re familiar!
their bagels are not new york authentic type bagels unfortunately, but they are the only bagels in the area i've found that are gluten free. i asked if they could take cross contamination measures for me and they obliged and i'm sure they did some, but not all because i did feel a bit nauseous after which made me sad. i didn't feel very nauseous but i didn't feel only slightly, so that's unfortunate and made me upset because i thought it would be fine. thankfully i didn't feel too nauseous though i suppose. the bagel itself was good and hit the spot (egg, cheese, nova cream cheese, and spinach) but i wouldn't go again unless they are willing to take celiac disease seriously next time.
If I could give this place negative stars I would. My boyfriend and I went yesterday. When we were getting fountain drinks we noticed that fruit flies were coming out of the fountain machine into our drinks dead and floating. I pulled Luther aside and told him about it because that is a health violation and if getting caught, the health department would either shut them down until the problem was fixed or slap them with a huge fine. Needless to say, he was very rude and dismissive saying, "it happens what am I gonna do" then he proceeds to make a joke to the staff about what I said to him right in front of us which was so disrespectful on so many levels. What Luther fails to realize is that if it weren't for customers, he wouldn't have a job at the begal place. Secondly, a good manager takes care of the situation, doesn't mock a customer for looking out for a business. I don't understand how he got his position at the begal place in Canton. Aparently he gets complaints about his conduct all the time and he is still there, that is beyond me. The worst part is that we spoke to the general manager Eric and the only thing he could say was sorry. A good business person would say how can I make this right. Not even that, he could care less and didn't want to be bothered it seemed like. No ownership or accountability was done about Luther's conduct. I don't understand how a business can be run like this knowing the actions of the staff is horrible from leadership down to the cashiers. They say a business is lead by leadership and it clearly sucks. I Would not reccomend this place to anyone. They have gluten free options but I will go elsewhere.
I love the THB in Towson, Charles Village, and Timonium. They’re fast and accurate and the menu is fairly easy to navigate to make sure you’re getting something gluten-free. But the one in Canton is terrible. I’ve been here three times and I’ve never had a good experience. The second time it was because they gave me the tiniest bagel and then tried to tell me “that’s just how it is.” It’s not; I buy Udi’s at home and I know that they’re small but that was unacceptable. The customer service was appalling. This last time, I ordered a “gluten free plain bagel, with bacon, egg, and cheese on it” and they gave me a regular bagel. I’m never coming back. Eat here at your own (very high) risk.
I got a cream cheese and lox gf bagel. It was a lot smaller than the regular bagels but pretty good. Bagel texture was alright. Unfortunately it was contaminated and I got very sick. Don't go if you have celiac.
Don't go if you have celiac. Although some workers are knowledgeable about gluten free, some were not and contaminated my bagel by using it on the same toaster. When I had a safe bagel (not toasted and made with changed gloves) I didn't get sick. Bagel was alright but kind of small.
Gluten free everything bagel with egg and cheese is super tasty. However I was warned the bagels come frozen and I'm not confident on them being prepared separately
