The Alcove Cantina

I went in last week and I have a milk and wheat allergy. I asked the waitress if the chips were 100% corn and she said she didn't know. I asked if the cooks would know and she said "honestly, probably not" so she didn't bother asking or trying to find out for me. I placed my order and told her no cheese as I have a milk allergy and my order came with small amounts of sliced cheddar cheese hidden throughout which I ate before noticing and later got sick. I should have left when she said the cooks wouldn't know the chip ingredients so I guess some of that is on me....

The margaritas are great! But there is NOTHING gluten free to eat here. NOTHING! Be prepared to go hungry or just eat naked lettuce.
