We eat at The Amberley a lot, and love the food. I’ve never been glutened in all the years we’ve been going, so I feel very confident eating there. Their fish and chips - which are GF by default - are consistently the best fish and chips I’ve had. Also, the surroundings are beautiful, particularly the back garden, and the staff are always really lovely. As an added bonus, they offer takeaway GF fish and chips on a Friday night!

We had a really delicious lunch here. I really enjoyed the fish and chips and sticky toffee pudding! The waiter has coeliac himself and reassured me that they only fry gluten free foods in the fryer. Most of the lunch menu was either gluten free or had a gluten free option. There is a lovely beer garden at the back but it was unfortunately raining when we were there. Beautiful scenery in the surrounding area too. Next time we are in the area, we will definitely go back!
