Have been here several times & the food is always good. Came here today for Hubby's birthday as the whole restaurant is gluten free so made me feel very safe. Had steak pie & mash for the first time in ages & it was fab. Can wholeheartedly recommend.

Absolutely delicious gf good. So much to choose from, such a treat! Waiting staff were also very friendly and helpful. Dog and child friendly.

Really recommend the Angel I’ve been several times with no issues. The meals are huge, and really tasty pub food, definitely recommend the pies and fish and chips. the mass majority of the menu is gluten free including desserts. One thing to mention they do have normal bread for starters so please do tell them that you are gluten free when ordering any bread.

Second time visiting and just as good as our first visit. Adult and child menus, everything is gluten free. Good, fresh food and absolutely worth a visit if you are in the vicinity (by which I mean anywhere in a 50 mile radius as it’s worth the trip.)

The Angel is my absolute favourite place for gluten free, most things are gluten free anyway but you can pretty much have 100% of the main menu gluten free too!

My husband and I are both gluten intolerant so was wonderful to be able to have a delicious totally GF meal. My husband had homemade steak pie and chips with a pint and I had seafood chowder and bread. Loads of pud choices but too full to sample.

The food was decent, not amazing, but above all lovely to go somewhere knowing that the entire menu was gluten free and not needing to worry about CC. That in itself made this worth the trip.

Excellent good quality food as always. Knowledgable friendly staff. Well worth the trip if you're not local. Majority of food is gluten free including pies and fish and chips. Even if you're not coeliac you won't be disappointed.

Great food, had beef and ale pie, I can have gluten,and couldn't tell the difference from normal pastry. Desserts excellent too, we will definitely be back.

Great gluten free options, often including things that aren't normally OK (e.g. fish and chips and pies) and a great selection of GF puddings. And all the food tastes fantastic, so it's a great place for anyone to go to. Very highly recommended.

This Pub is fantastic. virtually everything on the menu has a gluten free option. The food is fantastic. They even allow you to bring your dog in which they have a doggy menu with a gluten free option. This is probably the best pub with gluten free options that we have ever come across.
