They take gluten-free seriously at The Architect, as I was told the owner has Coeliac Disease herself. Nearly everything on the menu is gluten-free. This is one of the only places left in Cambridge for gluten-free fish and chips. All six sides served with the Fish & Chips (mushy peas, creamed spinach, samphire, etc.) are gf and so are the seven sauces (tartare, curry, aioli, etc). It's also the only place I know that serves gluten-free scotch eggs (which are divine!). The creamy fish pie is my current go-to. It's also a great place for light snacks with a drink. I recommend the lemon pepper halloumi and fried gherkins. Reservations are a good idea, especially on the weekends.

The owner is also a coeliac. And was more than happy to talk me through the menu as a newly diagnosed coeliac. 90% of the menu gluten free minus two items. And they even have gluten free beer. Fab experience.

Had the roast dinner it was delicious. They use mostly gluten free flour in their kitchens and the majority of all meals are gluten free. The roast is fully gf without the Yorkshire pud.

This restaurant was great, the food was lovely and the waiter knew all the information that was needed. The menu is almost all gluten free apart from the pies and that made it much nicer and it felt a lot better to order.
We had the veggie fish which was battered and deep fried and it was great. We will defo be going back on a later date.

An absolute gem of a pub. Great staff, great food. They offer an amazing Coeliac Friendly gluten-free fish & chips with a choice of fish (or vegetarian options), multiple batters, many sides, and amazing dipping sauce. (I recommend the jalapeño ketchup). It’s all fried in dedicated fryers - they have 1 glutenous fryer - the rest are all gluten free. Drink selection is okay but the amazing staff and food make the place. Some pies, starters, and desserts were on offer as well - many gf options clearly labeled served by a friendly and welcoming team. Non-Coeliac enjoyed it too. Ate too much but didn’t get sick!
