If you have Celiac Disease, don’t eat here.

I called in advance to ask, and they said they had lots of gluten free options and were very safe for people with Celiac Disease as they did not allow cross-contamination. But when I got there, the staff had no idea which menu items were gluten free or not (even based on their ingredients, irregardless of cross-contamination) and just said, “anything can be made gluten free if you switch the bread to our house made gluten free bread.” I was a bit confused by it all- and also they bake a bunch of gluten stuff in the same kitchen as their gluten free bread- so when I tried to seek clarification the staff member snapped at me and got very irritated. :( I ended up settling on just a coffee, and the staff member was huffy about that, too, saying “well, you don’t want the gluten free bread” even though seconds before she admitted “there is flour everywhere in the kitchen.” Then when I left, I saw her serving people their coffees in the front area at the same time she was eating a sandwich…..?! Such an odd experience haha! But hey, probably great if you don’t have Celiac Disease! Their food did look delicious.
