Three stars as an average rating overall. Negative stars for the kitchen staff, who it seems put my niece's burger ( with barbecue sauce and French fried onions) on my GF bun, then realized their mistake and switched the burgers out. Problem with that is of course cross-contamination. I complained to the server who said she informed the manager, although no manager ever showed up at our table. They cooked another burger and put it on a new GF bun and it was delicious and I did not get sick. No GF fries, however and they charge 2.50 for the GF bun, which is tasty, but like most GF buns I've had fall apart quickly. Service was okay-a but slow but they were fairly busy.
The Avenue has some of the best burgers in town. They serve up GF buns that are a little dry, but with all of the fixings on the burger, it doesn't feel that way. Their poutine is also out of this world.
