The Bayside Skillet is a very family friendly strawberry themed crêpe house wrapped in an omelet breakfast place. They can make everything on the menu gluten free, except one item. Good omelets, nice crêpes, delicious fresh fruit juice and limonades. Portions are large. While their website says "when we have gluten free batter" the waiter could not remember running out. They are a little pricier than others but that's because you get good ingredients and large portions. Good place. Very friendly. Note: gf crêpes are round, glutenous crêpes are square. No mistakes possible!
I eat at bayside skillet every chance I get. Most of the menu can be made gluten free and even when it is super busy in the summer I never worry about out knowing my food is safe.
Our favorite, goto, breakfast place in Ocean City. We have breakfast here every day when in town. The staff is very knowledgeable and accommodating. Most menu items can be made gluten free. The fresh squeezed juices are great as well. My wife has never had any issues despite several allergies including gluten.

OMG what a gem. This place was amazing. Only two items on the menu couldn't be modified to be gluten free. Everything else was or just could have a simple substitution. Food was AMAZING! We plan on making this a frequent stop! Also don't worry if the line looks huge when you pull up. They have soo many tables that the wait is so short.
this place was great! being gluten free on vacation can be tough but there was not a lack of options here and was delicious
It’s amazing how good it feels to go to a restaurant and have SO MANY options. There were only a few things on the menu (fried stuff) that I couldn’t have. The majority was gf. And so yummy and SO filling

The food was fabulous!! We ordered the seafood omelet, bacon, and western potatoes. We ordered online and for each item they allow you to insert your allergens. It’s obvious they take this seriously. And they are pet-friendly outside too!
Food was delicious! Crepes, potatoes, and omelette!! If you go, ask for Kelly P. She was the best server we had our whole vacation.

The absolute best place to go in OCMD! Almost everything is GF or made GF. They take a ton of precaution with prep and have different pans for crepes and eggs. I’ve come here several times and have never had issues. Excellent atmosphere as well!
Absolutely loved GF options. So many were marked as GF and the Crepes were able to come GF as well. Ordered omellete and also a side of the western potatoes that were delicious. Great menu 😋 👌🏽
Gluten free options clearly displayed on menu and waitstaff was very understanding of celiac.
I thought I was in for overly sweet, breakfast, diner food that would leave me with a stomachache. I was wrong. I had the seafood omelette with egg whites and felt energized after eating it. The gf crepe that came with it was lightly sweet but not cloying. The coffee was a cut above.
Don’t be fooled by the decor: this place is not an ordinary beach cafe. It serves not just delicious but high-quality food. And even though it was our server’s first day on the job, she did great and I was completely confident our food was gluten free.
Just had the best breakfast that I can recall since being gluten free (16 years). Lots of gluten free options (including crepes) and huge portions. Great atmosphere dining outdoors. Would definitely return.
The prompt, courteous service was only outdone by the menu selections. Almost everything on the menu was labeled GF. Beth took great care of us, understood our "choice paralysis" Definitely recommend this place!!!

Fabulous crepes and breakfast food. Extensive variety of GF offerings. Aware of cross contamination issues and multiple food allergies. It’s my favorite place to eat in Ocean City and I find an excuse to eat there whenever I’m in Maryland.
Their outside patio allows dogs.

I had a potato hash that was delicious! Most menu items can be made gluten free, I felt very safe!
YUMMY!! So good, and they took care to assure me that my choices were safe for a celiac. Portions are huge, so I got the smaller plate of cinnamon crepes with strawberries and finished the whole thing, which never happens. The creme freche that accompanied my hubs dutch apple crepes was also GF, so I added some to mine.
They asked if it was an allergy immediately which is a good sign that they take gluten free orders seriously

My celiac friend did not get sick! Her crepe was so good we were worried it wasn’t gluten free at first but it absolutely was!!!! You simply must come here!
The service was amazing. The portions generous and delicious. My boyfriend gets gluten free and we can share. The wait staff is knowledgeable about celiac. I have had their omlette, banana royale crepes, their berry fruit cup, and pan fried western potatoes. The fresh squeezed orange juice is amazing. I plan to try the apple crepes next. The ambiance and decor are delightful. We have been there twice and are are planning on going back. Highly recommend as beast breakfast I ever had!
Outstanding!!! GF menu with soooo many choices!! I had frittata Benedict and a side of crispy potatoes . My companions had Hot Potatoes that was loaded with veggies, jalapeños, Sirachi sauce & pepper Jack cheese and Potatoes Ariel that was piled up with scallops & shrimp and a silky sauce. Every dish was shareable and sent our tastebuds soaring!!

The staff was amazing! The hostess and waiter were fantastic! They have a full gluten free menu but our waiter said they can make almost any of it gluten free so not to feel constricted to the GF menu, which I was already happy about! The portions are LARGE and shareable. We will be going back (often) even if it is 1.5 hours from home!

Absolutely fantastic spot for an amazing meal in Ocean City. They have an entire page of GF options and most of the crepe meals can be done GF! We have eaten here twice so far on vacation, and I am hoping to squeeze in a 3rd visit before we leave! The first time I had the lump crab and cheese omelette, it comes with a GF crepe with strawberry jam, it was HUGE, I took more than 1/2 back to our room. The 2nd time I had the Crepes Kathryn with GF crepes, apples, strawberries and peaches. I took more than 1/2 of it with me to go! Both times I got the Strawberry Mimosa, trust me-you need to order this! It is so hard to find a place to eat safely, and I feel 100% confident in the safety of this restaurant. We had incredible service both times, the meals are served quickly and are super fresh and delish!
We are huge fans of Bayside Skillet. Although we stay in Rehoboth, when at the beach, we make the trip to OCMD, at least once per visit, just for the crepes and fresh squeezed juice (and maybe a breakfast cocktail...don't judge, it's vacation).
There are several Celiacs in our family and the gluten-free crepes are delicious! The staff is knowledgeable and we have never gotten sick.
Tried for the first time based off of this app. Gf options clearly marked and waitress was helpful. However, the restaurant was kind of run down and dirty. The whole place is carpeted, the AC vents dripped onto the table. Cloth napkins dirty or stained, not sure but it looked gross. The busser came with a towel on a broom to wipe the drips from the vents and did so right over peoples tables. Within 2-3 hours of our meal 3 out of our 5 (both gf and non-gf) were “sick” in the bathroom. Still aren’t feeling well and sadly will not return.
We were so happy to find a place with GF options my 5 year old would actually eat! She had strawberry covered GF crepe and even brought us an extra GF crepe with her extra banana she decided she wanted afterwards. The waitress was friendly and confirmed they would alert the kitchen staff to her allergy too! The food was delicious and I finally found a place I can recommend. My daughter didn’t get sick at all! Their portions are also huge! If you’re not a big eater and want to save money, sharing is encouraged at this place!
I had crepes for the first time ever since being GF!! So delicious and the vibe is so upbeat and fun! Knowledgeable staff and they even signify your allergy with a colored toothpick on your plate which I thought was helpful. Would highly recommend!

The most delicious breakfast I’ve ever had in my life, no joke. Fresh squeezed orange juice, amazing. Gluten-free Dutch apple crêpes with fresh homemade whipped cream. To die for! home fries done perfect, the applewood bacon was just like I like it. The coffee was a little weak for my taste. But I can’t say enough about how amazing, fresh and homemade everything was. Excellent ingredients. Even the takeout bags were thoughtfully done.
a must when in OC, we love our experience everytime. They take precautions with cross contamination, have a huge variety of GF options. I’ve had omelets, crepes and the potato’s dishes before and all have been delicious with no reactions! Huge portion sizes so share or be prepared to take extras with you.
Gluten free options are on the back of the menue. They have alot of options. They brought my food out separately which was the gluten free crepes. I would absolutely go here again for breakfast. Warning...the place is pink
