The Bayview Hotel

Bayview hotel has a seperate gluten free menu which clearly states what is safe for gluten intolerant people and people with coeliac disease. Food was super tasty, and staff are knowledgeable about coeliac and cross contamination

Felt comfortable staff knew what they were talking about from the moment I asked for the gluten free menu when they always reply "is it for a coeliac or gluten intolerance?". Whilst it's a shame they can't do the hot chips gluten free, my 10 year old always enjoys eating here. He doesn't eat mash but they are always happy to serve his kids steak with greens. When they have been unsure about the ice cream or topping they have taken photos of the ingredient list and come to show me at our table to make sure it's safe for him. The regular menu is fantastic as well for non coeliacs.

Separate GF menu available upon request. Extensive choice (no hot chips and 'naked' burgers only though). Staff well aware and pointed out Gluten intolerant v. Coeliac safe too. Porchetta was divine!
