So excited with the menu and ordered the Chorizo Pasta dish. I told the waitress I have celiac so it must be gluten free. She said sausage isn’t gluten free but I could do chicken instead. I asked if pasta is cooked in separate water. She checked and said no! I asked if it could be & she said no. So frustrating! Why is this item listed as gluten free?? I did order a beet & arugula salad with chicken & it was great.
Callagan's has a fair number of choices and have fresh gluten-free buns for sandwiches or garlic bread
Good selection of mains to choose from. GF wine and herb perch was just ok. The fish had little flavour and the rice was dry and bland. The veggies were the best part of the meal. Note that fries are “gluten friendly” not gluten free as there is a cross contamination risk so I passed on those.
