Review of The Bean Sprout

This is an amazing gem to find, gluten free Chinese food is tough to locate! The food is somewhat hit or miss but their service is fantastic. We got a chance to try their frozen dishes out when they hosted a pop up in Guelph.

BBQ fried rice was excellent. Shrimp dumplings were delicious. Steamed buns weren’t good. The bread was alright but the fillings were not satisfactory: chicken buns barely had any filling and it’s noticeable because it’s shredded chicken. The lemon chicken was delicious but the lemon sauce was super odd. Food is pretty breading-heavy so they look MASSIVE but is mostly bread.

We’d definitely would love to try their hot buffet table one day!
