They have a dedicated fryer for French fries! It was a pleasant surprise. My burger was good, GF bun available. They even bought a bowl of water out for our dog as we ate on the patio.

We ate at Leonardo at Liberty Square and have been to this restaurant several times. The staff is very knowledgeable about Celiac disease and very motivated to keep their patrons safe. I do have to say that our first visit had a little glitch in that my gluten free pasta was served with bread on the plate. My server was appropriately horrified that this happened, set the plate at the countertop so I knew the kitchen staff didn't just take the bread off the plate and re-serve it, then brought a fresh plate. Management repeatedly apologized and my meal was free. This last time we went, management informed me that they use a separate kitchen and that gluten free foods are served on specific plates and to make sure to look for those specific plates. Our server served the gluten free meal separately and the bread that was served to the rest of the family was kept at the opposite end of the table. My food was served promptly and it was delicious. Plus, there was a variety of choices on the menu which is a nice change. I would recommend this to restaurant to others.

The most careful and accommodating kitchen staff in Door County. They really cater to those of us with special diets. I was super impressed.

Only giving this place 1 star because I can't give it 0. They do have labeled gf items. They were not accommodating to my dairy allergy at all. We were a party of 5 who went in on Sunday at 11:00. We got seated at 11:15 and didn't get our food until 12:55 and nobody at our table loved their food. It was mediocre. The only thing that saved them slightly was that they didn't charge for any of our food. Definitely won't be back.

Great options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Chef very careful about cross contamination. Even has the servers carry gluten filled food on separate trip from the kitchen. Very nice staff and helpful. My family all liked our meals. Gluten free pasta available at their nice dinner location next door, same kitchen.
