The Blue Duck is the only establishment we visited in Livingston where I felt safe eating. They have a small menu, and only a few items are gluten free, but they are GOOD! The GM and staff are personable and conscientious, will answer questions, and they take extra precautions in the kitchen. Even better, this place is FUN! It's a small restaurant in historic downtown Livingston. The night we visited, they had a live band, which really added to the vibe. (That, and the drinks were good!) I had the blackened catfish, which was cooked to perfection! I can't say enough about this place. I get excited when I find a good GF restaurant in a small town. Everywhere else we tried looked at us like we were from the moon when we asked about GF options.
