Nothing special, only gf buns for sandwiches. Waiter didn’t know anything about gf. Asked about French fries & waiter said there’d be cross contamination. So I went with the potato chip option. They are some sort of flavor- maybe sour cream & onion?? Asked waiter again about it & she said ya, they’re some sort of flavor, not sure what. She had no answer for if they’re gluten free & didn’t seem to have any interest in finding out.

This place does not have a GF menu.

They do have helpful waitstaff that take you seriously. My waiter didn't know much about Celiac or what was safe for me, but he sent over a waitress who is also Celiac who could help.

They don't have a lot of lunch options. There's lots of fried food (cross-contaminated), but GF buns as an option is good; besides throwing a bun on a sandwich, it's just salads (hold the croutons).

The food is fine.

Nice to find a place that has more than just GF buns. Pasta as well. Waitress was very helpful let me know if there was cross contamination risks etc.

We ate here on our last night in town. It was pricier than I would have chosen if we had other options but most were closed (it was a Wednesday). Our server seemed knowledgeable and said she herself was gluten free. It is my 11 year old daughter who has Celiac and there weren’t many options that were kid friendly. Nothing on the kids menu could be made GF. They did have a GF bun and we opted for a hamburger and a fruit cup for her. They did not have a dedicated fryer so nothing fried was an option for her either. I had steak and my husband had onion rings and chicken wings. All the food was tasty but we had hoped for a better family dining experience with more choices.

Knowledgeable server. Nice atmosphere. GF bread service with the salad. GF pasta boiled in a separate pot. Favorite place in Minocqua!
