I was to be in Worcestor for a wedding and contacted the restaurant through the website a week beforehand, as I have Celiac, and the online menu wasn’t clear to me, although it had been recommended. Since I couldn’t eat in, I needed to know exactly what was safe. The head chef personally contacted me back within six hours. Although it took three emails and me screenshotting their online menu to send to him to clear up the misunderstanding, once he saw the online menu was not up to date, he corrected it. He did let me know that certain pizza add-ons were more likely to be cross contaminated. Good to know. Only pizza can be made GF. No GF hamburger buns. When our order was picked up, the GF pizza was missing, at first out of a large order. The taste and texture was excellent and I was impressed by the chef’s attentiveness. It should be a lesson to others how important it is to contact a restaurant well ahead if you have Celiac.
