The menu had no information about gluten, but one very helpful staff was able to tell me what was safe. I give her 5 stars, but due to no labeling I'm hesitant to rate more than 3.
All the potatoes and eggs are safe, but she steered me clear of corned beef hash since it's made with beer. Again, none of this was marked on a menu, but was safe to eat at.

The waiter was very aware about the gluten free options. I got an egg sandwich with sausage on a udi’s bagel and hash browns it was delicious. They had a variety of options I would definitely eat there again!

We had to wait about 30 minutes for a Saturday morning seat and ended up sitting at the bar (totally fine with that!). My oh my this place is a GEM! Our bartender said she also has celiac disease and the kitchen has a dedicated fryer for the hash browns (YAY!!!!). I had so many options to choose from. Absolutely amazing place!

This is a very popular spot with very limited gluten free option when ordering a sandwich to go. They have Udis blueberry muffins and gf plain bagels but their kitchen is always backed up and it's hard to trust they are following allergy protocol. The other thing I will say is that the last time I attempted to get a to go order here, they stopped accepting food orders at the coffee bar because their kitchen was so backed up it, was taking 45 min for one breakfast sandwich. This was only 30 minutes after they opened. This isn't a reflection of the restaurant, but more of the struggle of finding staff in a tourist town. I would recommend being there right when they open and being prepared to wait 30 minutes for your breakfast sandwhich if you plan to stop here.

They offer gluten free bagels. Just make sure you ask for it to be in toasted, otherwise they toast it in a regular toaster.

Great food and I think they are making a real effort to help GF customers. Unfortunately my daughter spent the afternoon vomiting after eating here. She definitely got glutened. It may have been a toaster that also is used for non GF bread, a grill, cooking surface or ingredient that contained gluten. If you have celiac and are reactive to gluten I cannot recommend this restaurant.

Waitress was super knowledgeable! There isn't a GF menu, but she knew all the items that were safe for me to order. (They should really just have a separate menu to make her life easier!). Modified a dish on the menu for me. Unfortunately it came out wrong and I had to send it back. But they were nice about it and fixed the mistake. Second breakfast came out perfect and delicious! Also had a cocktail that was to die for! Home fries in a dedicated fryer! Crispy and perfectly seasoned. A+

Seemed very knowledgeable, however not appropriate for coeliacs as I got quite sick. I ate there 1 day ago and I’m still feeling quite unwell, looks like full glutening. Really disappointed as previous reviews were really good!

Waitress was knowledgeable and friendly and informed me that the sausage and hash contained gluten. The gluten free bagel is very good and tastes fresh baked. It is a lighter, flakier style and would get it again for sure. I got an oatmilk latte with one pump of Carmel that was excellent. I did order an espresso to add to it as I like mine strong and found it a bit weak on its own. There were not any substitutes for pancakes or other pastries which was of little surprise. Pleasant atmosphere and I would come again for sure.

Food was tasty, staff was very knowledgeable and helpful about gluten-safety. The waiter was so nice about it and reassured me that it would be safe. Home fries are made in a designated fryer! I had eggs Benedict on a gluten-free bagel and did not get sick. I am a highly symptomatic celiac so this is a good sign!

Waitress was mindful of celiacs and explained the cooking process of all meals my daughter was interested in. Excellent dishes across the board. The whole family can't wait to return.

I sat at the bar- great view! My bartender deferred to on of the veteran employees, a woman who obviously also has celiac or a gluten allergy of some sort- since we discussed various gf bagel and bun brands :). Anyway- they knew their stuff, I got the eggs Benedict and I didn’t get sick!

Fantastic. Mike took care of us and personally walked me through the menu and took note with the kitchen staff. Breakfast was excellent and service was top notch. 100% confident in the Breakfast Club.

Excellent breakfast! Our very knowledgeable server assured me the home fried potatoes are safe. What I was going to order that is traditionally gluten free isn’t there because of their prep, but she offered suggestions and safe substitutions and not only was my meal enjoyable, I felt great after! Can’t wait to go back!

This place was great! The staff was incredibly friendly and knew about the gluten content of everything on the menu. They have gluten free bagels for breakfast sandwiches which are great. They can do the rostis gluten free and most of the build your own breakfasts. The pancakes and waffles aren’t gf but there are lots of other great options. I will definitely be back!

Due to Covid, they didn't have a GF menu but my server was very knowledgeable! She assured me that all the home fries are cooked on a dedicated grill (so no cross-contamination is happening) and they have delicious GF bagels available as substitutes for their scrumptious (and I mean SCRUMPTIOUS) sandwiches! You ever doubt something is GF because of how good it is? That was me with these bagels! Overall a great meal and no reaction whatsoever!

Fantastic experience. The hostess sat us with a serves who also had CD so I was very comfortable and she was so knowledgeable about the menu. They have a separate space for GF prep and the home fries are made in their own part of the grill. Can’t wait to come back!

The gluten free food here was delicious! The menu had many options, such as omelettes, smoothie bowls, and röstis. I ate here two days in a row for breakfast while vacationing in Lake Placid. I tried the very berry smoothie bowl and the Swiss & bacon rösti, both of which were delicious. I would definitely recommend The Breakfast Club to anyone looking for great gluten free breakfast food in Lake Placid! I believe they also have some lunch options, although I did not have the opportunity to try any of them.

Very knowledgeable staff! We ate breakfast here 2 days in a row. Tons of gluten free options and there are very aware of cross contamination and take every precaution. My son and I both have celiac. We had 4 different meals. Everything was delicious and we did not have any reactions at all. Everything from muffins, bagels, omelets, home fries, açaí bowls, eggs Benedict, hot chocolate - all gluten free options! We were able to sub in gluten free bagels or a fruit bowl to just about any item on the menu. This place really gets it. It was so nice to be able to have a meal as a family of 5 and feel like everyone had great options.
Yes
Great meal of food! Very sensitive and didn't get sick. It was not peak hours when I came though.
Good options here at this restaurant. Our waiter informed me that all the hashbrowns are made separately and are GF which was nice. We got two rostis meals and they were awesome! Would recommend for sure.
Yes
One daughter had bagel with cream cheese and one had potatoes with egg and cheese on top. Waitress said it was gf. Both are currently sick a few hours after eating the meal. I assume severe cross contamination or they use same cream cheese for other bagels.
Nice gf bagel sandwiches, but server wasn’t well informed, so make sure you double check before ordering fries etc (not gf).
2 poached eggs & Canadian bacon. They did not have the corned beef hash prepared yet. Staff was friendly.
I went here twice in one weekend. The first time they took forever to come over to us so we ordered food as take out. The service isn’t great. The food was okay. They have a gf bagel which is alright.
the food was delicious. able to get breakfast sandwiches on gf bagels. my husband had a rosti which was also great.
Yes
The menu at restaurants had GF options for breakfast but not a great selection other than eggs. Food was good--had a skillet egg with ham and potatoes. No bread was available. Waitress was very knowledgeable and cautious. Go to the cafe down street. GF smoothie with GF protein or even better buy a GF granola, fruit with yogurt have very accommodating server who thought on the fly! Coffee definitely delicious.

What was confusing was there are apparently two locations on the same street. We went to the first one, and were directed to the other, as they were more allergy-friendly. The staff didn't seem very knowledgeable, and the egg breakfast was super small, and bland.
We are staying next door at The Haus (you must go!) The menu here is exceptional and many gf options for you to choose from. I am not gf but my boyfriend is dedicated. Our waitress knew what was gluten free and what made it gluten free. My boyfriend ordered sausage and the waitress came back to let us know it is not gf, thanks for the save lady! The staff is very knowledgeable about their menu. Best place for breakfast in Lake Placid. Highly, highly recommended!!!
Yes
Very knowledgeable. Always ask the questions. They have gluten free bagels and use separate toaster... dedicated. It was yummy!
Yes
Great restaurant with knowledgeable staff. Had the beef tenderloin rosti. Delicious. Highly recommended by this celiac.
Yes
Rosti is great on its own but then considering its gluten free its even better. Was the best breakfast food preceliac days and it still holds weights post diagnosis
Yes
Amazing GF breakfast choices, super friendly employees, beautiful lake views and mimosa's...what more could you ask for?
Chefs and wait staff knowledgeable about celiac. Food was very flavorful with many gf options. Highly recommend Maple Chicken salad. Large portions!

They have some of the best breakfast food I have ever tried! Their rostis is amazing, especially the bacon and Swiss with poached eggs. and i havent gotten sick(I am really sensitive). We have been here 2 times already and will be back again for sure!

I had the Ham and Cheddar rösti which is like a skilled and it was AMAZING. The seasoning on the home fries reminded me of the seasoning they put on the Five Guys fries and there it was a large portion of food. I ate half for breakfast and half for lunch. I got mine with two poached eggs on top and it was so delicious. I highly recommend. I am writing this 10 hours later and I am not sick!

Amazing breakfast skillets (Rösti), great coffee. Staff very knowledgeable and friendly, and manager checked back at our table when there was a question regarding my order. Felt very safe. Left full and happy!

Excellent food, separate cooking of gf food. Very knowledgeable wait staff. I would definitely go back.
Great breakfast, but no gf bread or pancakes...
