I've eaten here semi regularly for 15 years following my celiac dx. They've always accommodated my dietary needs. It's a great special occasion place (even if the occasion is wanting to watch the sun set over the lake on a random Saturday).

NOT GLUTEN FREE.If you are looking for a safe place to have a gluten free dining experience this is not it. I called ahead of time and told them we had a gluten free guest in our party and i was assured that they had gluten free items on the menu. My son, with Celiac, ordered the gluten free salmon and chantilly potatoes and the shrimp appetizer. We told the server about the need for a gluten free meal due to the Celiac disease. When the dinner came the potatoes looked suspiciously augmented with cheese and other ingredients but we were assured by the server that they were gf. For dessert my son special ordered fresh strawberries and vanilla ice cream, but instead of just putting them in a nice dish they served them in a housemade cookie bowl. I had the server take it right back to the kitchen, reminding her of the gluten free diet. When she returned with the berries and icecream in a dish I asked if they were the same ones just put in a new dish. She said yes, so I asked her to please use new berries and new ice cream and explained about the cross contamination from them being in the cookie bowl. She brought out a new dish of the dessert. But sure enough, here is my son the following morning, curled up in a ball with stomach pain about to miss the final 2 weeks of eighth grade and all his exams.
