Symptomatic Celiac

When I order from here on Postmates or Uber Eats, I call ahead of time to tell them my name & celiac situation. One warning: the Kung Fury bowl is marked as gluten free, but it is NOT– the Asian slaw has soy sauce, which contains wheat. You can get the kung fury bowl without the Asian slaw, but there isn't a lot of flavor at that point because most of the flavor comes from the slaw. Sometimes when I get it, I'll add my own GF soy sauce and some crunchy shredded lettuce to it. That being said, they told me ahead of time that that's a mistake, so I was at least happy that they were informed enough to know that it was incorrect. They have never glutened me (I'm very sensitive), so I'd say that they're very careful and this place is celiac friendly, but I would call ahead if you're ordering delivery to make absolute sure that the thing you're ordering is, in fact, gluten free.

Excellent option in Tampa, Florida. The prices are reasonable and the food delicious. I am gluten free and dairy free and I had no reaction. The bill includes my husband's lunch, drinks and two snacks so the amount is less..

Another wonderful meal at The Bricks of Ybor. This time I decided to not tell them I have Celiac disease. I know Celiac suicide...but I did tell them that I am allergic to eggs. The item I ordered is made gluten free. Because they have an open air prep kitchen I was able to watch my food being prepared. The man making my food changed his gloves prior to getting my plate and didn't get my food near anything that may contaminate it. I would still recommend that you vocalize your celiac disease; It was still cool to not feel like a broken mess for once at a meal.

If you're in Ybor I would definitely check them out. They also have GF Cider beer in a can that is safe for those of us that are very sensitive and can't use beer pint glasses at a bar.
