Fabulous place! We went for our wedding anniversary and the whole experience was perfect. We ordered the sole then husband had the chocolate delice. Staff are very knowledgeable and came back to double-check things several times to make sure my husband was happy e.g. oven baking the sole instead of dusting with GF flour as GF flour doesn't make it as crisp. They also asked if my husband was ok with the ice cream as they buy it in. Jay in particular was friendly, helpful and so attentive he brought out a 'Happy 13th Wedding Anniversary' written in chocolate with our deserts!

Found this restaurant by accident as we'd headed to see the sunset over the sea Thursday evening. Wanted somewhere close to the seafront and walked in without booking (I'd recommend booking), the welcome was warm and friendly and they found a table for us, it was full.
When asked, the person that showed us to the table, immediately brought the gluten/dairy free menu.
There was a good selection of Gluten Free, Gluten Free Adaptable, Dairy Free and Dairy Free Adaptable options.
The person taking the order also checked if it was an allergy. The wait was a little longer than maybe comfortable, and also we could have been asked about another drink a little sooner, but as per google it was a busier Thursday (nice weather) than usual and they appeared a little understaffed.
When the food was delivered, the person serving, advised that the chips (of the other guest) were not gluten free so not to be tempted to try one! Which was a good touch and much appreciated.
The food itself was excellent quality and flavour and the smoked fish mayonnaise with the baked cod really added to the dish overall. The peas and beans served with the fish were perfectly cooked and crisp as they should be.
I would highly recommend, and just ask for the gluten/dairy free options.

Adding as I know they have a GF menu as visited this weekend. My experience wasn’t great, first server didn’t seem too bothered about checking anything as they were “busy” (they weren’t). The second server who brought food checked with me I’d checked the sausages were GF, I had asked the previous server to check but she’d clearly not as I’d been served sausages containing gluten, after stating coeliac and specially ordering from the GF menu. She took back to the kitchen for a redo to avoid contamination but it was the same food brought back. I hope this was just an off day but my experience attests they are not careful even when you state coeliac. It’s a massive shame as although mid-high prices for what it is, decor and location are ace.
