Eating with celiac here was a little iffy. The waiter didn’t seem to know much about what I could and couldn’t eat on the menu. He recommended the nicoise salmon salad. I ordered that and asked that they just grill the salmon instead of having it crusted. The waiter did know that I couldn’t have capers, but wasn’t really helpful when ordering. I did not get sick, but the situation felt a little risky and I’m not sure if I’ll go back.
Ordered takeout for an office lunch. It wasn’t my top pick, but thought I was safe ordering the chop chop without breadsticks, and requested it to be gluten free. It came with fried shallots from a shared fryer, so my coworker is enjoying a $17 salad while I enjoy a protein bar. They don’t do well with allergies.

This an outstanding seafood restaurant the oysters are to die for and the wild salmon is the standard no one else can meet. Staff is extremely knowledgable and can modify most dishes to gluten free status. Deserts are memorable. Come to The Brooklyn when you are in Seattle.
