This chocolate workshop was part of a chocolate-focused walking tour throughout the heart of Belgium. The tour was fantastic, but the workshop was out of this world. The head pastry chef, Karla, ran our workshop and she is celiac; our tour guide Marc called ahead to let her know I was coming and she prepared a special gf plate for my dipping experience. All of the chocolate we used was dairy free; there was an opportunity to use while chocolate which of course would not have been cf, but why spoil the extraordinary dark chocolate anyhow?!?! The chocolate was amazing; we got to taste a fair amount and then we each got to take home our own homemade delectables as well as some pralines (meaning filled chocolate outside of the US, often not nut-based). A fantastic experience and well worth the money!
