Worth the wait for a table. So many GF (and dairy free) options. I had a hard time deciding what to get. There were eight of us and I think we all got something different. It was all so good. I had the GF chicken and French toast and can’t wait to have it again. A huge portion and amazing. We will be regulars.
SO delicious and so many gf options! Server was knowledgeable about allergies and took it seriously. Accommodated both celiac and severe nut allergies. We were able to have an incredible omelet, fruit, pancake, and bacon - and there were so many other choices, too.
Celiac, didn’t get sick.
It was amazing! Almost everything f can be made gluten free. Staff is very knowledgeable and when I asked for my sandwich on GF bread our waitress asked if it was an allergy to make sure they kept my meal safe! They have a dedicated frier which is great since not very many places do.
Ate here twice while in Boulder this weekend. I had breakfast burger without cheese ( gf buns are gf and df!) and second time I had the pecan pancakes without butter on top! My huband orderd the vegan gf skillet so we could share, also delicious! Had no problems, staf really helpful! We stayed next door at Marriot residence inn canyon street. It was so convenient with The Buff next door, our own kitchen in the hotel room and Sprouts supermarket with lots of glutenfree items next to the hotel! Really enjoyed my stay!

Wanted a great breakfast in Boulder and this did not disappoint! I had the Harvest Skillet and my husband had French Toast and Fried Chicken. We are both GF and they had TONS of options that were clearly labeled. Our server was well educated on avoiding gluten and asked if we had any other allergies. It was clean, food was SO GOOD, and staff was helpful. Will absolutely go again!
DO NOT TRUST YOUR SERVER OR THIS RESTAURANT IF YOU ARE A CELIAC! This place is NOT safe for Celiacs. We asked questions about shared cooking and prep surfaces and we were assured everything in our order would arrive gluten free and not contaminated. When our food arrived at our table, there were no tags indicating the food was gluten free nor did the food runner announce that they were the gluten free pancakes and potatoes. To be extra safe we asked our waitress before consuming and she said that they were the gluten free versions, and that she herself eats gluten free so she understands the importance of being assured. Unfortunately, 2 hours later (like clockwork) my daughter was vomiting up (for over a 1/2 hour ) all of the Buff’s “gluten free” breakfast.
Menu includes GF anf GFO(ption) along with other dietary needs. Lot’s of options. My waitress was perfectly comfortable with my questions about GF. I had a slice of GF toast which was quite good and asked about she brought out the package so I could get the brand. Food was good as it was before I my celiac diagnosis.
Good amount of options and based on what the waiter said they take cc as seriously as they can in a shared facility. Unfortunately, I was actually pretty disappointed with the french toast I got. Whatever gf bread they were using just did not soak up the custard at all so it was essentially a dry piece of bread with eggs cooked onto both sides of it. It was still edible though and with their dedication to safety I’ll definitely go back and try something else sometime.
The Buff is AMAZING! Hands down one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten at. Our server was informed of my gluten intolerance and did a wonderful job assuring me that my food would be safe, informing the kitchen of my intolerance, and recommending things to eat on the menu. I ordered “The California” with a side of potatoes and it was hands down the best omelet I have ever had! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is Celiacs or gluten intolerant as I suffer from cross contamination and did not get any reaction to the food I ate.
The menu has lots of GF options and the staff is knowledgeable. I had the Chicken & French Toast meal and my only complaint was that there was too much food. (We were traveling from out of state so taking the leftovers was not an option). My meal was delicious. I cannot remember the last time I had fried chicken or French toast at a restaurant. It was a real treat!
I have waited so long to come here and was so excited to try the gluten free blueberry pancakes. I must be in the minority, but I did not like them. I went early when they opened at 6:30am. The service was terrible despite the fact there was hardly anyone there yet. Will try again on my next Colorado trip-maybe was just a bad day/need to try different pancake or french toast. They were knowledgeable about GF which was a positive.
Fabulous food and very knowledgeable about Celiac / GF precautions! Separate griddle for gf pancakes and french toast. My Celiac girls devoured their breakfasts.
Beware- the gf pancakes contain almond flour! We have one tree nut allergy and almost had an issue. Thankfully we caught it just before she ate it.
