My celiac daughter and I enjoyed a yummy breakfast. After talking with the server, I felt safe to eat. I had French toast and fried chicken. My daughter had the breakfast sandwich. The chicken was bland but all else was good.

Wanted a great breakfast in Boulder and this did not disappoint! I had the Harvest Skillet and my husband had French Toast and Fried Chicken. We are both GF and they had TONS of options that were clearly labeled. Our server was well educated on avoiding gluten and asked if we had any other allergies. It was clean, food was SO GOOD, and staff was helpful. Will absolutely go again!

DO NOT TRUST YOUR SERVER OR THIS RESTAURANT IF YOU ARE A CELIAC! This place is NOT safe for Celiacs. We asked questions about shared cooking and prep surfaces and we were assured everything in our order would arrive gluten free and not contaminated. When our food arrived at our table, there were no tags indicating the food was gluten free nor did the food runner announce that they were the gluten free pancakes and potatoes. To be extra safe we asked our waitress before consuming and she said that they were the gluten free versions, and that she herself eats gluten free so she understands the importance of being assured. Unfortunately, 2 hours later (like clockwork) my daughter was vomiting up (for over a 1/2 hour ) all of the Buff’s “gluten free” breakfast.

Menu includes GF anf GFO(ption) along with other dietary needs. Lot’s of options. My waitress was perfectly comfortable with my questions about GF. I had a slice of GF toast which was quite good and asked about she brought out the package so I could get the brand. Food was good as it was before I my celiac diagnosis.

Good amount of options and based on what the waiter said they take cc as seriously as they can in a shared facility. Unfortunately, I was actually pretty disappointed with the french toast I got. Whatever gf bread they were using just did not soak up the custard at all so it was essentially a dry piece of bread with eggs cooked onto both sides of it. It was still edible though and with their dedication to safety I’ll definitely go back and try something else sometime.

Loved the gluten free French toast + fried chicken in a gluten free frier. The French toast was amazing- the fried chicken was pretty good. The 99 cent mimosas were a nice touch!

The Buff is AMAZING! Hands down one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten at. Our server was informed of my gluten intolerance and did a wonderful job assuring me that my food would be safe, informing the kitchen of my intolerance, and recommending things to eat on the menu. I ordered “The California” with a side of potatoes and it was hands down the best omelet I have ever had! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is Celiacs or gluten intolerant as I suffer from cross contamination and did not get any reaction to the food I ate.

Excellent extensive gluten free options. I had the French toast and fried chicken. The fried chicken was delicious. French toast wasn’t quite battered enough but still tasty. They are very aware of cooking on a separate surface and using separate utensils, etc. Very good!!

Was good. So many GF options it’s nuts.

Knowledgeable staff. Dedicated fryer. I indulged in something I usually can’t eat in restaurants, French toast and battered chicken. It was a huge serving. Real maple syrup to dip in.
Loved it. Chicken and french toast. It was a great treat!
This restaurant was extremely easy to navigate! They take GF very seriously with separate cooking spaces and utensils. There are so many food options and the food was delicious.

The menu has lots of GF options and the staff is knowledgeable. I had the Chicken & French Toast meal and my only complaint was that there was too much food. (We were traveling from out of state so taking the leftovers was not an option). My meal was delicious. I cannot remember the last time I had fried chicken or French toast at a restaurant. It was a real treat!

Staff was super knowledgeable, and the menu was very clearly marked with what was naturally gluten free or could be substituted to be made gluten free. There were tons of options! I had pancakes, potatoes, and bacon; it was all delicious!

I have waited so long to come here and was so excited to try the gluten free blueberry pancakes. I must be in the minority, but I did not like them. I went early when they opened at 6:30am. The service was terrible despite the fact there was hardly anyone there yet. Will try again on my next Colorado trip-maybe was just a bad day/need to try different pancake or french toast. They were knowledgeable about GF which was a positive.
Yes
Fabulous food and very knowledgeable about Celiac / GF precautions! Separate griddle for gf pancakes and french toast. My Celiac girls devoured their breakfasts.
Beware- the gf pancakes contain almond flour! We have one tree nut allergy and almost had an issue. Thankfully we caught it just before she ate it.
Yes
Delicious GF pancakes!! Waitress assured me that there is a separate grill for GF items. Definitely knowledgable about celiac & gluten allergies/intolerances. I am a very sensitive celiac & did not get sickš Very pleased!

Excellent food but it was packed! Ordered to go which came up quickly.

The first time we ate here, my daughter had just been diagnosed with Celiac Disease. The server told her that the owner's kids are Celiac, so they have a separate kitchen for the GF foods. Great pancakes and bacon, and that's all she cares about!

The menu is full of options. This might be heaven.
Great breakfast place to eat if you have celiac disease. The staff is very knowledgeable and is able to make many things on the menu dairy free as well. I ate here both days I spent in Boulder with no side effects.

Great menu! Menu clearly indicates gluten free items or ones that can be prepared gluten free. I had the Chicken and French Toast and it was SO good! Friendly service. Short wait on a Friday so if you a visiting on a weekend, prepare for a wait but it is worth it!

I like that their gluten free items are clearly marked on the menu. Their gluten free pancakes are delicious and they take care to cook your scrambled eggs away from gluten foods if you let them know you have celiac disease.

The food here was amazing!! Gluten free was not an issue and nearly everything on menu could be adapted to accommodate gf. Three of the five of us ate French toast with fried chicken and bacon. It was delicious! The fourth had a breakfast sandwich, also great. All of our meals came with potatoes...so much food I couldn't finish it all. Definitely a great place to eat!!

The best gluten friendly restaurant that I have found in the Boulder and surrounding area! Very helpful and nice staff and so many gfo! Definitely will be coming here many more times.

Wow! The food here is fantastic. My wife and I hung out at the bar and had an iced mocha and chai that were great. Both the owner and our waitress said to try the GF chicken and french toast. Yes please. My heart is so happy. Go to here!
