Had Christmas day lunch, cost £100 a head. Very disappointing, Brussels sprouts had been kept warm for a while as they were very bitter, there were no parsnips, no pigs in blankets, no stuffing and the carrots were supposed to be glazed but we're just plain boiled. The toilets were dreadful, there was water all over the floor, there was no toilet paper and no soap. My daughter visited the ladies and they were the same. I gathered from another diner that the restaurant had changed hands recently. It used to be excellent years ago but it is somewhere I would certainly not visit again. I sent them an email pointing out my dissatisfaction and they did not even have the decency to reply definitely one to avoid

Visited today for lunch and was very disappointed with choice. Only 1 main marked as gf (risotto). When I asked I was told I could have the roast without Yorkshire pudding, gravy and cauliflower cheese. I'm assuming at the same price. Menu was very expensive for what we had. I chose seared tuna with new potatoes and samphire, as I thought I would be safe with that (I'm not coeliac). My husband and father in law had the roast which they said was fairly tasty but not very hot. Wouldn't recommend for anyone who is coeliac as I wouldn't trust cross contamination.
Menu is marked to show which items are gluten free. They also sell Gluten Free Peroni
