They happened to be the visiting food truck outside of COVA Brewing Co. on 12/11/22. I thought it might be a stretch to find something safe because they’re 100% vegan, and a lot of vegan products have gluten. I was able to get a Beyond Meat burger on a gluten free bun with a side of potato salad- the fries look reallllllly good, but the fryer is not dedicated. The burger is the only entree that is celiac safe- it normally comes with a side of chips, but idk if they’re fried in house or a bag of chips (didn’t ask). She changed her gloves every time she touched something that may induce cross-contact, so I felt very safe eating here. The potato salad looked to be pre- portioned ahead of time as well (and it was very fresh). Flavor- the burger was really good. It came with fresh red onion circles, arugula, pickles, and vegan cheese. It was all very fresh, and the layers balanced well. The bun tasted good, but the bottom crumbled away (as they do) and so my burger became a bit of an open faced upside down burger. The potato salad was decent- it was severely lacking in salt to bring any type of flavor out. Same with the fries my wife ordered. The food truck didn’t have any salt (I asked, literally none to give), but thankfully CoVa was able to give us a small cup of salt and it salvaged the flavor. It’s a mayo based potato salad that had a plentiful amount of green onion which I loooooved. My wife enjoyed her Cajun seasoning tossed fries (once they were salted) and her Mother Clucker sandwich (vegan fried ‘chicken’). She was able to choose between regular and spicy; she chose spicy, and said it was fairly mild.

Overall, if I was somewhere out and The Bumbling Bee truck was around, I’d order a burger from them. I wouldn’t seek them out specifically, solely from lack of options.
