Was so excited to try this place because of all the good reviews on the app, but if you have celiac definitively don’t eat here. There is a dedicated fryer, but before we could even order we noticed the cashier hand someone a cookie, and then with the same gloves use their hands to scoop the French fries out of the bag and into the fryer. It’s not the employees fault as there’s just so much cross contamination occurring in the food prep space, it’s not possible to safely prepare a celiac friendly burger or fries.
The staff were knowledgeable about Celiac disease; the cashier communicated effectively with me and the kitchen staff to state that this persons order was gf due to severe allergy.
I ordered the bacon cheese burger on a GF DF KETO bun and it was awesome!
Absolutely no symptoms after eating
Went here for supper. I asked at the til about which things were or went gluten free she was able to answer my questions. When she place my order something was missed and my order wasn’t not made gluten free. I checked before I took my completed order because my bun looked like my friends bun. As soon as I questioned it she offered to remake it and confirmed that she would start over not just switch the bun. I was happy with my food and did not get sick and I am very sensitive. Would eat here again!
I am a new celiac diagnosed last year. I would say that one of the biggest things I am mourning is fast food. So I was happy to discover this place via my GF app. I felt very safe. Staff was knowledgeable and you can watch all the preparations take place. Others have mentioned how good the GF bun was, as did the person working. The bun just didn’t do it for me. It was kind of “eggy” if that makes sense. Not to mention you are paying the GF bun premium. Next time I will try the lettuce wrap or just get the burger sans bun. Fries are dedicated fryer. Fry portions are huge! Can easily feed 2 people. Only complaint is that they don’t have fountain pop. It is in cans . Will definitely go back.
Bit more of the kind of fast food experience I'm not keen on: staff who maybe can parrot a line but don't seem to really understand what gluten is or what cross contamination can be. Still, I think it was probably safe. But not very tasty—fries were undercooked and soggy. Burger bun was a strange ethereal white, like those deep sea creatures that never see sunlight. All WAAAY too salty. Won't go back.
Highly, highly recommend this place for burgers and fries! The GF bun is great and they take the necessary precautions to make sure nothing is cross contaminated. I have never had symptoms from the food here, but as always be cautious anywhere that shares the same facilities as non-GF items.
