Review of The Butcher's Daughter

Had dinner here with a small group, two of us had celiac. We were very upfront about our food allergy and were ensured everything we ordered was gluten free. To start we shared a selection of vegan cheeses with gluten free toast as a substitute to the crostini. We were given whole wheat toast and it wasn't until we were half way finished that the bus boy walked by our table, realized that we were given the wrong toast and ran to get our waiter. Had the bus boy not said anything we would not have known immediately. Rather than show real concern for two celiacs having just eaten whole wheat toast, the workers seemed uncomfortable and not knowledgeable of how to handle the situation. After hearing such rave reviews, the way this restaurant handled the situation was despicable and I would never recommend or eat here again.
