I hope the waiter was just having a bad day because this was probably my worst experience trying to discuss food allergies when ordering. I tried to ask a few basic questions and they were super rude to me, dismissive, and made me feel awful. They actually snapped up a plate I asked a question about and stormed off to the kitchen to “check”. I can’t say either way whether the food is actually safe, but I didn’t feel comfortable eating here.

Do not eat here if you have Celiac disease. I was told that all cooked food on the menu is cross contaminated due to shared grill/ surfaces. I asked about the GF salad options and was told that they can be prepared safely without contamination. I ate the GF Caesar salad and shortly after, I had a reaction. This is a “gluten friendly” restaurant, it’s not celiac safe.

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. The server marked my seat with my allergies & I did not have any issues. Everything was delicious!

Very yummy brunch spot! Lots of GF options, as well as just healthy options. I got the crab cake Benedict and an açaí smoothie.

Really cute place with great food. I went here for dinner with a friend several weeks ago and brunch with some friends this weekend. This weekend we showed up with a party of 5 around 11:20AM and to our surprise thy were able to seat us without us having a reservation which was really nice!
My first visit to The Butcher’s Daughter, I got the Pad Thai. It wasn’t my favorite Pad Thai I’ve ever gotten just because it is very tangy. My friend got the Pad Thai for brunch yesterday and she enjoyed it but was unable to finish it because it is so rich.
Yesterday I got the poppyseed waffles and highly recommend them! Especially for being a gluten free dish, the waffle was so delicious and fluffy.
This place has great friendly staff and a good ambiance. When indoor dining opens back up, their indoor area is very cute as well with tons and tons of natural lighting that makes it especially beautiful.

NOT Celiac Safe- called ahead and same toaster, fryer, pasta maker, etc. used for “gluten free” foods. Pre-diagnosis eating gluten free there was great- delicious food- but now will avoid based on their preparation of food.

The server seemed knowledgeable, menu seemed great. Food was delicious. BUT 3 bites into my ‘GF’ pasta, i felt off and asked the server if the GF pasta was cooked in the same water as the reg pasta. She asked the chef- the answer was yes. Then she came back and said there’s no way to separate GF from other food in their kitchen. She did say she would warn future customers if they say they have celiac.
No
The menu is clearly marked with what is and isn’t gluten free. There is a pretty good selection of gf foods (sandwiches, pizza, salad, soups). I got the pizza and it was pretty good. It was a cauliflower crust which I thought was great but it was kind of burnt. But that could have been a one off thing.
Yes
The food was Celiac safe but the gf options were gross. I sent my food back which I never do. Not worth the expense if you’re gf.
Great smoothies, has clearly marked GF items. Selection is somewhat small but unique and really tasty! Also good for vegetarians/vegans
