If you want a more bougie dinner on the last night you're visiting Seattle, and have some dollars to spend, go here. The menu is very clearly marked what is GF, and there's quite a bit, but I do recommend telling them right away that you have Celiac, they will make sure to use a dedicated fryer if you get the beef fat fries. I got the Asian pear salad, AMAZING, the smoked pork chop, PHENOMENAL, olive oil crushed new potatoes and it was the most delightful meal I've had as a Celiac so far. The steak was also, as my husband put it, the best ribeye he'd ever had.
They have fried gluten doughnuts on the menu so I clarified if the beef fat fries are fried separately. Waiter had to confirm with kitchen, but said they are. Definitely let them know you have celiac though because it kind of seemed like they special fried them to be sure or something. We had the tar tar which had so many herbs and chunks you couldn’t taste the beef, so not sure it’s worth the money. The steak flight was great. The beef fat fries were what dreams are made of. They took the cookie off the cheese ice cream and then it was safe for me. Overall very expensive but good meal. I had no issues afterward.
This is a favorite; the steak is always delicious, there are so many side/appetizer options (the beef fat fries are amazing!), and I have never had any issues. The only disappointing part is their dessert menu as there are very few GF options.
Service has been hit or miss lately, but the food is usually worth it.
Update to the previous review: They have a GF fryer now, according to our server! The menu is well labeled, and there are lots of safe options. I had a steak, some polenta, mashed potatoes, and Brussels sprouts — no modifications needed for anything. It was excellent, would highly recommend! I’m not a huge dessert person, but I’ll note that I think the dessert menu only had one or two safe options.
Steakhouses are usually pretty friendly to celiacs and this one is no exception. I was extremely disappointed that their famous beef fat fries are made in a shared fryer, but they looked so good I decided to risk a couple bites. WORTH IT!We got one of the steak flights and some veggie sides as well. Everything was awesome.
