Good atmosphere, great strawberry salad, and my husband really enjoyed his (non gf) pizza. Planning to go back and try more. Options marked on menu and drinks were good too!

Food was OK, staff weren’t too knowledgeable, we worked our way though. Setting was nice sitting in the patio area.

A couple weekends ago I spent a Saturday in town with a friend. The Butler said they offered gluten free options so we chose to try out the place. First off, the staff were very welcoming and accommodating. I made it known that I have a gluten allergy and they immediately took me seriously and listed off the menu items that I could eat safely. I’ve never felt so safe while eating out. I ordered one of their burgers on a gluten free bun (for an up charge). And while everything was amazing, the bun itself, like many others, fell apart. If you’re in a rush and need a place to eat with gf options, I’d definitely try the butler! Just beware of how dry the bun will be. Again, though, that’s to be expected most of the time with gf items.

I had the best meal ever here. It was the only entree that was certain to be gluten free, but it was amazing! It was salmon with a pumpkin purée with a side of Brussel sprout sauté. I loved it and the bartender went to the kitchen to remind them that I am Celiac. Nice spot.

Horrible!!! I got a burger and chips, was very sick the rest of my trip! :( My friends who are not Gluten free also had a horrible meal! the blue cheese on a salad was rotten! and a crab chicken meal was slimy and undercooked. Horrible experience!!!

I was so disappointed coming here for our ten year Anniversary. We are very laid back normally but this was outrageous. but after waiting 2.5 hours for our food off the gluten free menu, they prepared my steak with seasonings that they were unsure if gluten was in them AND a nice big slice of Texas toast on it. This was after I received a salad with croutons. They said it would take another hour for my steak so I only got to eat lettuce. This was very disappointing after doing my research and specifically choosing this restaurant. They were busy but there were several open tables yet.

The staff was knowledgeable but the food was not good. Everything was over cooked. I ordered grilled shrimp and a baked potato. I got 6 medium shrimp and a potato for $18. All of the options on the gluten free menu were naturally gluten free foods which is fine. If you are looking for something special this would not be my first choice.
The greasiest burger I have ever eaten in my life. I asked for a lettuce wrapped burger, they said they would put it on lettuce. I asked for no sauce, there was a dollop of mayo. Praying I don't get sick.
Nice and somewhat simple gluten free menu. I miss their stuffed mushrooms! The lobster tails and shrimp were delicious though. At the end of the day I ate here without getting sick. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The Butler has wonderful views and old world charm.
Nice gluten free menu. Had no issues. Got a delicious chicken sandwich with lots of toppings and a gf bun and potato chips.
