Wonderful! Almost everything can be made gluten-free on the menu! The food is so good that my non-gluten free boyfriend gets his food gluten free too! The staff is very knowledgeable and they take great precautions by putting specific sticks in the gf food so nobody gets confused! I LOVE the pizza! It doesn't become cardboard after it cools down, which is big for gluten free food! And all of the desserts are amazing! TRY THE FISH AND CHIPS OR ANY SEAFOOD! It is always super fresh and delicious!

This restaurant is amazing!!! The owner has been GF for 20 years. Manager and waitstaff are all super friendly and go above and beyond! The menu is not marked GF but the staff will tell you all but 4 or 5 items on the whole menu can be made GF! The onion rings, fried clams, eggplant parmigiana and pizza are fabulous! Most desserts are even GF! There should be more restaurants like this!!!

Personally spoke to the manager (who has celiac). She approached me & she communicated to the rest of the staff that I was gluten free. Dedicated fryer!

Most of the items are gluten free or can be made gluten free! I had the fried ice cream. Omg. I can’t wait to go back!

After I left talking to the manager, I actually had tears in my eyes (happy tears). She said “I want you to relax & know you’re safe.” That’s pretty much all any of us want when going out to eat. I never got sick & I had onion rings for the first time in about 7 years!

One of the most attentive GF places we’ve ever been to. GF is extra money but incredibly worth it.

Many options. Both quality and quantity are top notch.

You MUST try this place. We don’t leave nearby but jump at the chance to go here. Food is fantastic, fresh. Fresh right down the the subtle details.

I am over the moon for The Cabin!

Having recently been diagnosed with Celiacs I need to relearn how I eat and dine out. My husband and I were looking for a place that offers gluten free menu items, and, has no cross contamination with gluten foods. I saw The Cabin come up when I did an online search and after discovering that they offer a full gluten free menu we were in the car at 8:15pm to get dinner.

Upon entering we were greeted by Katrina...a warm, personable associate and when I told her that I was recently diagnosed with Celiacs she put my mind at ease immediately. Not only do they have an extensive GF menu, they have a separate fryer and prep areas for all GF dishes being created.

We started with the butternut squash bisque that had GF cinnamon croutons. Yummy! I had the Chicken Supreme...a battered and fried chicken breast topped with Supreme sauce (chicken gravy), sides of mashed red potatoes and fries, and cranberry sauce. It was so wonderful! Drank a GR beer.

Katrina let us know they offer 6 GF desserts, but I was so full I didn’t try one. Seeing they have fried ice cream I will definitely start off with dessert next time. She also let me know if the app “Find Me Gluten Free” which shows every restaurant that offers GF menu items. My whole GF world expanded! Katrina has been GF for ten years so she understands my needs. Turns out I knew her when we both worked in Rhode Island years ago! Small world.

Our server was terrific, music was lovely (old standards and big band), we met the owner...overall a wonderful experience. Thank you very much!

Weekly customer. Love the size of the gluten free menu. However, hire somebody that can cook a gluten free pizza and time it right for pickup. Gluten free pizza consistently undercooked and when told 35 minutes, get there in 25 and is already done, AND undercooked, something is wrong.

Love the venue. My daughter has Celiacs and had a GREAT meal that she hasn’t been able to enjoy a long time! Mozzarella cheese sticks and fries. She also ordered a side salad that came with gluten free garlic bread...an added bonus! My meal was ok...but my daughter to have her gluten free favorites.....PRICELESS! Will travel again next year 44 minutes! Thank you!

An amazing find while visiting family. They have an extensive gluten free menu. I was able to have fried clams, something I haven’t had in over 10 years (but grew up with). My 14-year-old son had mozzarella sticks and fried clams for the first time in his life. We ate here twice during a week. I’m super sensitive and had no trouble at all.

The cabin is very delicious ! Great portion sizes. Below is pics of the tenders and chicken parm I ate tonight. Their fish and chips is also delicious. Only reason why I didn’t give this 5 stars is because of the “ cheesy bread” the cheesy bread is just pizza crust with cheddar cheese on top. Not a fluffy bread stick I was hoping for, slightly deceiving. Other than that, DELICIOUS

dined here a couple times; have nothing but great things to say. service is welcoming and efficient, server/manager/owner checking in on our meal, beverages refilled promptly. both times i was in there, I saw nothing but smiley faces; they all seem to like working there. owner who greeted us and walked through his menu with us at last visit takes great pride in this baby, and he should. food-wise, portion size is generous, price point affordable, and food quality decent.

aside from their EXTENSIVE gluten-free menu including in-house pizza dough or flatbread (forgot which), what really puts them on top --at least for the environmentalist in me -- is the effort they exert in making conscious choices while running the tough, relentless restaurant business. i reckon that these decisions often come with a cost, and The Cabin seems undeterred by the money factor, committed to put people and the environment on the very top of their list.

from the little note printed on the straw (see pic), and the kind of doggy bags they provide, every bit of that warms my heart. sure, I could have done better, as in declining the straw (which we did) and bringing our own boxes (which I forgot), but every sustainability effort counts for something and I want to commend The Cabin for playing a great part, by chipping their profits to "give back" to the community and the only world we have to live.

we may not be in town often, but for the two big factors above, you bet you will be our number one choice whenever we return!

for those looking for a neighborhood pub grub, there's a small bar area by the entrance, equipped with tv and bartender. with the nice people who work there, i have no doubt this would be as close to your personal Cheers as one can get.

The Cabin, i sincerely wish you continued success!

I am the most sensitive celiac you will ever meet. This is the only restaurant I will go to in the area. Since finding it nearly two years ago, I’ve happily had every birthday and anniversary celebration for all of our family here. Even though I’m the only Celiac, everyone (from Grandparents to toddlers) love it! The food is really good — and super safe! In all that time, I’ve only gotten sick once, from a salad. Since then I’ve avoided salads and have had easily over a hundred safe, yummy meals. I highly recommend The Cabin!

We just had an incredible meal at the Cabin. The owner, John, greeted and seated us personally. Upon hearing that my son would need the gluten free choices he went over each and every choice and the measures that they use to ensure safety. I should note that my son is not Celiac but must go on a gluten free diet for another sickness. Oh my there are so many choices. Pretty much the whole menu can be gf in it's own dedicated fryer. My son is PICKY and he loved his meal. Also, 5 out of 6, of the desserts can be gluten free and they looked incredible. To add to this, our waitress Gretchen was amazing. She was friendly and knowledgeable and her service was amazing. I highly recommend this hidden gem for the food and service. We are lucky to be only 15 minutes away. Will be back often.

My rule of thumb is to only eat at places where there is a Celiac, or someone with a family member with the disease. So I wanted to give this place a try. I guess that the owner has the disease, but may not be as sensitive as some of us. When I found out that they use shared equipment and common areas, I decided that I could not eat here and risk it. Do you clean the toaster after a family member used it, or do you have a seperate toaster? They may be ok for most people, but the really sensitive should be aware that the website says that this is not a dedicated gluten free facility.Your choice.
