I really wanted to like this restaurant. Service was amazing and it seemed like they were aware on how to avoid cross contamination. I also felt assured based on prior reviews on this app. Unfortunately i was glutened on may 23rd. There were some obvious errors. While making the booking i had let them know about my celiac disease. I also again mentioned it to the wait staff. For safety my family only orders gluten free items. They brought out bread and we had to remind them that this is all gluten free. Not sure what dish made me sick. Quality and service were great but i won't eat here again. Have been dealing with after effects and will take me a while to fully recover.
We ate here to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and noted the occasion and the fact that I am celiac in our reservation. They were completely prepared for both. Our table was strewn with rose petals, we were given complimentary champagne, AND our server was ready with a gluten free menu before I had a chance to ask. She walked us through everything and had the manager, who has celiac herself, visit our table. The food was fantastic, and the complimentary anniversary dessert plate was modified to be gluten free as well. Fabulous, safe option for a special occasion.
I spent four nights in Seattle. We ate at some of the best restaurants in town but this one, this one stole the show! It’s expensive but worth every single penny. The waiter alerted the chef and the manager on duty. I felt like a queen! Do it, spend the money, enjoy this elegant restaurant! I had the salmon, it melted in my mouth like butter…. And don’t miss the crème brûlée for dessert!
We had Thanksgiving dinner here and ordered the fixed Thanksgiving meal. I called ahead and the chef made the effort to make gluten free gravy for me. I was offered gingered rice instead of stuffing and everything else was GF. The waitress was fantastic and they were very attentive to my needs. They did not have gluten free bread, but that is not important to me. They also have a full gluten free menu. Since I called ahead and spoke at length about my dietary needs, they bent over backwards to make sure I had a good experience.
They treated us so well and they were so careful and mindful of the gluten allergy. They have an entire dedicated GF menu which tells you how to order anything you may want. For instance, we got the au gratin potatoes without the topping and it was delicious! We got the crab cocktail for an appetizer and it was delish. We were there for our anniversary and it was really lovely. Our server brought out a GF dessert for me and something different for my husband, and they kept both desserts separated. I’d recommend this place to everyone.
They were so amazing with my Celiac! They made sure to keep everything on the table separate and alter any dish so I can have it gluten free, they brought out gluten free bread which was sooo good, they made me potato’s without the breadcrumbs, offered to bring breadcrumbs on the side for the people without celiac! highly recommend
