Staff is highly knowledgeable about Gluten Free needs. Server was able to identify everything that I could safely eat. They have a dedicated GF fryer. Server was happy to talk me through the menu and said gluten free folks coming to Nantucket always come here.?

I learned early on on the island you need to say you have a “severe gluten allergy” as all of the servers appear to be trained in what that phrase entails and are pleasant and accommodating. So thats the key phase on the island regardless of your GF circumstances at every place to eat and drink to get efficient and effective true GF safety treatment. Went there for lunch and this restaurant didn’t have many GF options for lunch but they do have GF burger buns and their fries are not cross contaminated. The burger I ordered was really tasty, the fries too.

Separate frier for French fries! And I asked if they could make the wings celiac friendly in that frier and they did. Lots of options

I ordered a burger with a gluten free bun. When it came, it was on the same bun as my husbands non-gf burger. The food runner said it was gluten free. The waiter confirmed that it was indeed NOT.

Amazing gf service. So accommodating! Very open and East to talk to about what is gf. Ate Tots!! Yum! Will go back.

We ordered take out from this place. I asked for French fries probably three times but they still got it wrong. The meal was gluten free, but it was on the pricey side. There are better places on the Island where you can eat gluten free for less money. I wouldn’t go back.

Awesome place! I had the veggie burger with a gf bun. Fries and tots are also gluten-free (I highly recommend the tots!) The manager came out and talked about how they cook the foods to be specifically gf, and how much they take allergies seriously.I highly recommend this place with anyone with a gluten allergy!Backyard BBQ is their sister-restaurant, which also takes gluten allergies seriously. Apparently, they have gf mac and cheese!
