Fresh and clean. I am celiac and I did not get sick. Very tasty too.
The Chefs create heathy, amazing tasting salads, soups & wraps.
If you love amazing salads or bowls that can be made to order, this franchise location is really great. I have been to many other locations and every one has been excellent, actually. They are cautious with their prep, taking all the precautions they need to. It’s a great place for lunch but I always often order their from their menu for a lighter dinner as well. They do a great job of not only feeding me but my family enjoys it too. You can order online and pick up. This works great especially now with the in-restaurant restrictions in place. I should mention that I love the chopped water too!

I had the Sunshine salad with falafels. Really good! But it was pretty expensive for what you got. I'd still eat there again for a quick meal.
I ordered through skip the dishes and made it very clear I didn’t want seasoning or pita chips with my order. When it arrived my whole bowl was mixed with pita chips and the taco seasoning. I couldn’t even eat it when my dad called and asked why they did that, he got “we are busy and don’t have time to read all dietary requests”

They said there is definite cross contamination of the food in this chain. Not recommended if you have an allergy.

The Chopped Leaf has plenty of GF menu items and many others can be adapted. The manager was very friendly and informed me of precautions they take for celiacs, including using different equipment and laying down foil in the ovens. She also told me she has regular celiac customers who report no reactions.
I had a delicious bowl and felt good afterwards. It was balanced, well portioned, and reasonably priced. I'm so glad this place made its way to good ol' KW. Its now my go-to healthy fast food joint.
