My experience was fine at the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf inside of Cedars Sinai Medical Center but their hot chocolate is not gluten-free. It didn’t seem like they had many, if any, gluten-free options.

I am a coffee addict, and upon being told to avoid gluten I struggled for a place to get coffee. I was told Starbucks was unsafe due to risk of cross contamination, so I tried Coffee Bean, and love it. All of their drinks are gluten free, yes, every single one, no risk of cross contamination. Just avoid the pastries, those are not gluten free. The staff is also extremely nice and willing to answer any questions you may have.

It was okay, they didn’t seem knowledgeable about what was gluten free or not. I had to check with the barista in the back and was told that the Carmel sauce is gluten free but vanilla powder is not which is used for most of their signature drinks. They do use oatly so I stuck to a oat milk cappuccino to play it safe.

Yummy GF scones and muffins. Comfortable atmosphere. Excellent Baristas!

They looked up ingredients for me. “Made in a facility with wheat” type labels. Had a black coffee, which was close to diner coffee. My wife says the coffee is usually better - she frequents here.
I had such an incredibly kind, helpful, and diligent barista! She called her manager and checked all ingredients labels. She couldn't be totally positive that the drinks were safe, so she made me a chocolate latte without any of the store's usual powders or mixes and gave me a great discount.
