*update* I can’t figure out how to edit my last review from 2021. Unfortunately in recent months, I have been told there is no GF fryer. Quite disappointing since they used to have fries and nachos that were safe. I think there are still GF burger options and some other dishes, but not as celiac friendly as it was before.

I had a pretty good experience here. Gluten free buns for burgers and they could do a side salad instead of fries. No gluten free fryer.

I visited The Commoner Roncy this past weekend. I tried to call ahead but unfortunately they didn't answer, so decided to chance it based on the last review.
Unfortunately, they *do not* have a dedicated fryer, at least according to the server who was helping us. I ended up getting the cheeseburger with maple bacon on a gluten free bun and a side of potato salad. The burger was good, but just "okay" and nothing to write home about, but it did the trick as I was quite hungry. I'm sure a lot can relate that it's easy to get bored of a burger on a GF bun when there aren't many other options. I did enjoy the potato salad, it was nice and fresh with lots of dill.
The restaurant itself was very cute inside, an upscale diner sort of vibe and really nice for a casual dinner with friends.
Giving 4 stars as there is no GF mentions on the menu and the server didn't seem 100% confident about GF substitutions which always makes me uneasy.

I have ordered the nachos many times. They have a dedicated gluten free fryer and can advise on a few different gluten free options in their regular menu and brunch menu. They did warn that the regular fryer is next to the gluten free fryer but I felt safe with their precautions. Also glutenberg and cider on the menu!
