The Corner House is a lovely restaurant with friendly staff. Items are marked GF on the normal menu but sadly my husband became ill after eating here. I spoke to the restaurant and they assure me that their allergy procedures are very strict but clearly something went wrong on this occasion. They say that the chips are fried in a separate fryer. I suspect the salad dressing may have been shop bought and might not be gluten free or perhaps a knife or chopping board may have caused contamination. Either way if you are very sensitive then probably best to avoid just to be safe. It’s a shame as I really like The Corner House!
