I didn’t mention my gluten sensitivity, but asked for gluten free bread. The server was super kind and mentioned there was a GF designated menu. When bringing my food she informed me that the bread was in fact gluten free without me having to inquire. I appreciated the assurance and not having to worry. Of course this kind of service can depend on the server, but I had a great experience.
I was told there was no gf bread and they had no way to make anything safe for me. I ended up with just a bowl of fruit. Disappointing. I wonder where these good reviews came from and why my experience was so different.
I have a great experience every time I come here! Most of the menu can be made gluten free, and items like the brunch tacos are naturally gluten free. I told them I have celiac, and the server was knowledgeable and advised me on the safest items. For example, the French toast is made on a shared surface, so she advised me to stay away from it, and they don’t have a separate toaster, but she offered to warm the bread if I wanted a dish with gf bread. I highly recommend the pork and egg tacos!!
