We ordered gluten free pancakes for our coeliac child after discussing cross contamination with the waiter to ensure they took reasonable precautions. The waiter was very clued up on this and explained they clean the griddle each evening, with all gluten free meals cooked first before they cook the gluten meals. The chef came out to explain they couldn't completely guarantee no cross contamination, but we were comfortable the steps they had taken to minimise the risk were fine. Very cosy family run cafe with good service. The cakes looked lovely (there were a couple of gf options) and they offer gf scones, so we'll have to visit again to try them!
