The Crazy Norwegians Fish and Chips

We stopped in while we were out on the coast and they made a box of fish tacos to go. It looked like they were very aware of safety and even marked the box clearly as the GF box. The food was great!

A great, no-frills lunch option. They say they can make many things GF but I'm not sure how without a dedicated fryer. That said, I've had fish tacos (specify grilled fish, not fried) twice and not been sick.

When I called and asked if they could accommodate someone with Celiac/gluten allergy, I was told... “Well, we can try.” They baked cod for me and it wasn’t done... rubbery and not flaky. They offered a pasta salad as a side. Be cautious.

To start off, previous reviews have overstated their GF abilities. No designated fryer, or prep area.

That said, I was there, needed to eat, and they found me something they felt confident they could prepare safely.

The food was excellent, service friendly and helpful, and most important- I didn't get sick.

They are a small kitchen and are very busy so they aren't usually able to accommodate celiac or the extreamly sensitive.
