There are barely any gf items on the menu, but when asked they were helpful and said they could cook food separately
Great food, they didn’t have a lot of options specified as gluten free in the menu but were really helpful when we asked. They have a seperate fryer and are building the menu to include majority of items gluten free and celiac friendly
Fantastic family dinner this evening at The Crown Pub & Beer Garden. Located in Five Mile, Queenstown. Separate fryer, loads of safe GF options, absolutely delicious, very knowledgeable and impeccable service. We will definitely be back!
Update: returned in July 2024. Their menu has changed and is not labelled that well but all you need to do is ask as most items on the menu have a gluten free option. They still have a dedicated gluten free fryer and an excellent understanding of coeliac. We love this place and highly recommend it.

Unfortunately I’ve been dining at the crown for years and in the most recent 2 menu changes, they have become less friendly to coeliacs. Only one GFO listed on the menu, recipes have changed for items. Will not be going back

Amazing staff and the food was delicious! They had a separate frier for gluten free food and most of the menu had gf options - would definitely recommend!
