We had a great time! The food was really great and they were very knowledgeable about celiac and my husband didn't get sick at all which is great!
Almost everything on the menu can be made gluten free or is already gluten free. Food was really good, too! Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Would 100% go here again.
We have eaten here on 2 occasions this past week. We are here from Pennsylvania. We wish this wonderful restaurant was also back home. They are very knowledgeable and considerate concerning celiacs' needs. The food is creative, delicious, fresh and well presented. Service is excellent, above a beyond. I am befuddled that those two 2019 reviews are so awful. All I can think is that maybe there was different ownership at that time. My husband is celiac and had no adverse reaction. The same goes for me with being gluten senditive.
CELIACS DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!! BEWARE!!!!! My sister-in-law applied for a job here. During her interview, they put her in the kitchen to make food (not being paid, it's an interview!), she had no food handlers permit, witnessed extreme cross contamination and dirty kitchen. They use the same toaster, pans and eveything else to make your "Gluten Free" food that they use to make the gluten-filled food. I came over 6 months ago and got the avocado toast with an over easy egg. A single piece of toast came out to $15 for gluten free. It was the worst experience I'd ever had. The toast itself was soggy, the avocado was bland and it was overall poorly crafted. I make avocado toast for myself nearly daily at home, it's literally the simplest thing you can make; So how they also messed that up is beyond me. I'm not the only customer whose made the same complaint also. They have ZERO concern for gluten free, your health, nor the safety and cleanliness of their enviornment. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!
Great menu! Very knowledgeable staff. My favorite is the grilled chicken sandwich on gluten-free toast with avocado mash. Absolutely delicious!!! Also love the GF pancakes. They top them with blueberry compote, walnuts & bananas, maple syrup on the side (or they come churro style). It’s a bit pricey due to gourmet type menu. Definitely recommend!!!
They have a gluten free menu! Everything except for one desert at this restaurant is labeled either gluten free or can be made with gluten free bread or a gluten free tortilla. We told the staff I was celiac when we placed the order and they said everything would be gluten free. We ordered the açaí bowl, and it was fantastic! We also ordered the pancakes with bananas and walnuts w/maple syrup and they were excellent. Kind of like oatmeal pancakes. My husband ordered the breakfast burrito and I liked that too. I asked the waitress what the tortilla was made from and she came back and said rice flour and other stuff and then the chef came out with the package and showed me that it was from Utah and certified by the celiac disease foundation! This is the second time I have eaten here and I will definitely be returning again. Last time we stopped in just as they were closing and had some soup and it was also fantastic. I can’t wait to try the rest of their menu items. Safe for celiacs!!!
Absolutely amazing food. Omelets are great and our son loved the French toast with gluten free bread. They can make things gluten free or substitute gluten free breads in place of an English muffin, etc. Pesto scramble was delicious. The potatoes had a seasoning with gluten but they could not add it by request. Great atmosphere, we ended up eating here two mornings in a row.
