Had the shishito peppers and a chicken dish indicated as gluten free. Very good, had no issues. Wait staff was very knowledgeable and seemed careful. I’ve recommended this place to many.

Went to a catered event at the Dawson for work; I believe some items were altered for the event because everything served was gluten free except for the cavatelli. The GF items for the event included the petite filet, little gem salad, grilled salmon, asparagus and fingerling potatoes. I had looked at their usual menu in advance and noticed a lot of unusual items contained gluten (ex. normally the asparagus has breadcrumbs). I did not try the passed appetizers but the sit down meal was great and I did not get sick. The server asked each guest about dietary restrictions before serving us.

I asked for a gluten free burger, clarified that I have an allergy, and the burger came out with a conventional bun on it. Thank goodness I saw the bun and thought “this is too good to be true.” The server apologized but I did not feel safe. She had them remake, but I guess they don’t have gf buns because it came out bunless. Was good but as you can imagine my anxiety was pretty high.
